We are starting our Little Sprouts Mosaic this month and we are inviting you to be a part of its creation!
You will get a chance to help design our Little Sprouts mosaic plus you will learn how it's done ... cutting, shaping, glazing, mounting and grouting of the clay tiles to make a beautiful piece of public art that will be enjoyed by our San Pedro community for years and years to come.
Renowned mosaic artist, Julie Bender will guide and administer the project.
Work will be conducted outdoors at our downtown San Pedro garden. All LA County protocols for our space will be observed. Attendance at any one session is limited to 12 people.
Participation is open to individuals and family pods. Children are especially welcome.
Work sessions will be spread out over several weeks on Saturday mornings.
