COMMUNITY COMPOST
Each year thanks to neighbors and local restaurants, Feed and be Fed diverted over 6 tons of food waste from the landfill. Those food scraps became nutrient-rich "Black Gold", soil which we use to increase the fertility of our crops.
We are always looking for more food scraps, and dried leaves to keep the soil health and food waste out of the landfill.
Ready to drop off your compost?
We'd love to have your fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds, egg shells and dry leaves. You can leve these items at our back (green) fence off of the parking lot on 7th St. (between S. Pacific and Mesa) or with our volunteers: Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 9am-11am.

An original composition created and sung by our volunteers in 2021.
