non-profit urban garden dedicated to restoring food justice in the community of San Pedro by growing and distributing organic whole foods and by providing environmental education.

Feed and be Fed was chosen by Councilmember Tim McOsker and honored by the LA Food Policy Council with the Good Food Champion award.

We care for people, the planet, and the future by practicing and teaching:

  • Organic, sustainable urban farming

  • Food justice means that there is more than enough food for everyone

  • Composting of food waste

  • Teaching the next generations through our youth programs

  • Regeneration of degraded landscapes

  • Providing sanctuary for renewal of the spirit
